OUR STORY
Our mission is to create entrepreneurs and sustainable business ecosystems to reduce unemployment and uplift entire impoverished communities, so every person has the opportunity to live a healthy and productive life. The fundamental purpose of the foundation is to empower the youth with practical skills and training in order to effectively implement sustainable solutions to uplift the impoverished and give back.
Covid-19 has made everyone realise how valuable time is and that all lives are equal. That is why I made the decision to establish the Endorphin Foundation so we can help others.
The Foundation started off by focusing on meaningful and high-impact way of helping needy people during covid times by assisting children who needed to stay in school by paying their schools fees, donating books and also assisting families that were affected by the pandemic with rental payments and food and clothing hampers.
As our commitment is to grow the foundation globally to help where help is needed. We realised this is journey and the more partners we can bring on board the quicker we can succeed.

FOUNDATION GOALS
We are guided by the belief that every life has equal value and the Endorphin Foundation aims to help all people lead healthy, productive lives in a sustainable manner. Our aim to help people anywhere in the world, where help is needed will remain our focus.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
To accelerate progress toward a more equitable world by addressing the barriers that keep traditionally impoverished communities and at-risk youth from being fully active in their homes, economies, and societies.
We want to create awareness of the value of education and entrepreneurship. That is why we shall endeavour to create and maintain equality into the fabric of communities and invest in removing the barriers that keep the youth (especially girls) from being fully economically active and bringing about sustainable and tangible change in a positive manner. Our approach starts with enhancing the access to opportunities to participate in the economy and improving the collection and use of data on entrepreneurship issues, so at-risk youth are counted and considered in policymaking. With an emphasis on reaching low-income communities, we support the work of partners to break down structural barriers to growth and positive change and help impoverished communities to overcome existing, day-to-day barriers.
The youth can only truly steer away from a life of crime and successfully participate in and benefit from the economy, when governments and institutions provide them with opportunities to gain employment, access services and support, and earn fair compensation for their work. We aim to understand the structural barriers that these impoverished communities face—such as lack of affordable childcare, educational opportunities, and access to bank accounts and credit—and support proven methods to break down those barriers.

GLOBAL ENTREPRENEUR
The aim of our Global Entrepreneur Programme is to not just empower individuals and entire communities with tangible skills, but to help with the implementation of structures and programmes that allow key deliverable to be achieved. This allows us to enable access to quality healthcare, high-impact educational initiatives and the building of successful businesses in both the informal and formal sector.
HOW WE WORK
To bring about the kinds of changes that will help people live healthier and more productive lives, we seek to understand the world’s inequities. Whether the challenge is low-yield crops or low graduation rates, we listen and learn so we can identify pressing problems that get too little attention. Then we consider whether we can make a meaningful difference with our influence and our investments, whether it is a grant or a contract.
The issues we engage in, although seemingly wildly disparate, but they share the characteristics of being deeply rooted, dynamic, and complex. None will be solved easily and quickly, and none will be solved through our efforts alone.
We do all of our work in collaboration with the private and public sectors, who join with us in taking risks, pushing for new solutions, and harnessing the transformative power of science and technology.
We strive to engage with our grantees and partners in a spirit of trust, candid communication, and transparency. Our collective efforts also depend on the support and resources of governments, the private sector, communities, and individuals. In each of our divisions, we develop goals and strategies before allocating resources and making investments.
We continually collect and share data on our progress, reflect on lessons learned, and make course corrections as needed. Essential to this process is ongoing dialogue with our grantees and partners—which is embedded throughout our strategy lifecycle. At this stage of the foundation’s growth, our divisions and strategies are already in place.
We reflect on and review each strategy annually and make adjustments to our implementation plan toward achieving our goals. Within each strategy, which has an allocation of resources, we collaborate with grantee and partner organisations to develop proposals that align with our strategic priorities and the organization’s focus and capabilities. An important part of this process is reaching agreement on what success will look like for the investment.
We also assist private sector entities to implement and achieve their Corporate Social Investment initiatives.
